For many years, schools and community groups in Minneapolis have partnered to provide services to students. However, the school district has lacked a formal process to engage with community organizations on a consistent basis from school to school. Community Partners Online provides a framework for consistently monitoring and screening organizations and individuals who offer programs to students.

Overview

Community Partners Online is another application that we have recently launched within the Minneapolis Public School district. It’s a multi-tier application powered by .net 2.0 and is supported by a MSSQL data layer. We have built a custom administrator interface granting system users the ability to track community organizations and their respective programs from year-to-year. Hopefully, this application will consolidate the certification process and increase customer support and efficiency.
